Saved Whiskers Rescue Organization, Inc. (S.W.R.O.) is recgonized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 non-profit animal welfare organization. Your generous donation is greatly appreciated and is fully tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. None of the volunteers within our organization are compensated employees and all of our donated funds go directly towards the care and treatment of the cats that we rescue. Saved Whiskers Rescue Organization, Inc. is completely dependent on donations, from you the public and adoption fees to support its activities. To date, all expenses have been dependent on the generosity of the founder, family members and a few kind souls who have adopted some wonderful kitties. Pam Ott, a certified veterinary technician and founder of S.W.R.O., has put up much of her own money to get started, but now funds are limited.

No cat or kitten leaves S.W.R.O. without completely being vetted. That includes, age appropriate vaccinations, spaying or neutering, de-worming treatments, feline leukemia/FIV testing and the AVID microchip. We do not euthanize any healthy animal under any circumstances! This lifesaving work is critical for many of these warm, loving, affectionate and unfortunate cats whose only crimes were being born, not wanted, becomming homeless or even lost. Sponsor-A-Cat....

We know that many loving people for a lot of reasons are just not able to bring a cat into their household. Perhaps you have allergies or the place where you live does not allow cats, but there are numerous ways you can still contribute to the care and love of cats. One way is through sponsorship! The cost of sponsoring a kitty is far less than actually owning one and you will be helping the volunteers who work tirelessly to give these kitties the love, companionship and care they deserve. For this reason we are introducing a sponsor-a-cat program that we know will benefit the kitties we rescue and people alike who would like to connect through sponsorship.

FERAL CATS NEED OUR HELP, TOO!!!! AND SPONSORING IS JUST THE WAY TO DO IT! Even if they may not be suited to a life of leisure and safety as a housecat, they can have safer, healthier life if we feed them, have them spayed and/or neutered and vaccinate them to prevent disease. The cost to support the care of feral cats is rather expensive, but with your sponsorship and a small monetary donation either on a regular basis or just once, will help us to continue to care for these poor helpless kitties. Feral cats by nature pose a unique challenge, they are afraid of humans and avoid contact as much as possible. Even though caretakers are providing food on a regular basis for the many ferals colonies, they will hide until we are gone, usually the kitties only come out at night to feed.

Saved Whiskers Rescue Organization, Inc. would like to give you the chance to help these feral cats, through our sponsorship program! When you sponsor a feral cat, you help us provide the food, shelter, and medical care they desperately need. A safe, healthy environment is something EVERY cat deserves! These poor kitties are only homeless due to human ignorance and we at Saved Whiskers Rescue Organization, Inc. care enough to want to help what has been done to these cats. Through our Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR) program we can bring these homeless cats' populations down. All monetary donations of ANY amount are welcome and appreciated!!!! A small donation on a regular basis, as little as five dollars a month, can help defray the costs of veterinary care for the cats who are in foster care with us. While the kitty is in foster care our volunteers provide them with food, shelter and lots of attention. By sponsoring one of our rescue kitties, it allows us to continue rescuing the many abused, abandoned and homeless cats & kittens in our region. Remember, all of the donated funds go directly toward S.W.R.O. rescue cats.We are appealing to you to help us in our mission to continue our No-Kill, Non-Profit rescue through sponsoring.
